Fall Chic Outfit+ Video

Hii guys!
How have you all been?
I am blogging after a long, long and a long time. I was busy with my exams (hope I do well >_<) and now its finally over and I am back with my blogging routine.

So today instead of a normal outfit picture posts, I have done a video about it. I am not really new to doing videos for my blog, I have done one in the past about DIY Belle Noel Hair Chains and you guys supported me real good, and that is why I loved the idea of showing more videos and DIY's.

Most of the time, you will see me in jeans, a top and co-ordinated handbag and accessories. I dress up but most of the time its always on the lines of Casual-Chic! And I call my daily style Casual-Chic because it is effortless and easy, no nonsense and its so quick that I am out of the house in 20 minutes flat!

For this season, I have stocked my basic essentials, that is studs, jewel tones, blacks and off-white and basically anything on the radar which catches my eye.
This particular t shirt is switching between my mom, my sister and me, We all LOVE it! The jeans are mint green and goes well with idea of mixing your summer essentials with fall trends.

T shirt with studded detail - ZARA, mint green jeans, floral print handbag - snapdeal, turquoise blue shoes - fashion&you.com, bracelet - singapore.

That is it from me, I will be back, with hopefully another video. See you soon over here!

C'est fini!

Engaged in Blue

I love pairing different shades of blue together, turquoise blue + cobalt blue happens to be my favorite, well it does look good together.

Moving on, peplums are a seasons favorite style-trend, You see it everywhere, in dresses, skirts, tops, jackets, shrugs etc etc!
This Peplum top, is such a finder's keeper for me, it was wrinkled, folded and no girl thought of even looking at this thing. I was the one who saved the poor child from its state (Although I did fight with the store manager to give me a new piece.) even when the size (it was medium, and I am a size small) runs a little big.

And to tell you a funny story, in-order to save time I did this photo-shoot, before going to an event, in my building lobby (which you must have already seen several times by now) and these crazy high school kids, the mail guy, the building manager were giving me a hard time to click pictures. I get a little uncomfortable when someone watches me and definitely when they watch us fashion bloggers posing for our accessories and handbags and etc etc (imagine asking your friend to click a picture in a public place of your ears to show your ear rings , yes, exactly!)

Thus I always click pictures either early morning, mid-afternoon or late night, peace!

Enjoy the pictures :)

my fav picture!

top - apcoa, jeans-kraus, bag-asos.com, necklace- add ons, bracelet- goa, shoes - charles & keith.

And lastly create your very own peplum top, using items available in youR closet. If you want to know more then click on this link - How to : Peplum. I had written this post a while back and its super easy and super chic.

And FINALLY I was featured on Mumbaimag.com, read the article What is Mumbai Wearing? here.
You can see me & other great fashion bloggers and read about them too :), yaaayyyyy us!

Vacation Vlog part2+ OOTD!

Hello Readers,
My upcoming blogposts will be based on my recent vacation, I will have OOTD, some cruise talk, some random things.

Day 2 -
The second day was the most awaited day of the entire journey. All of the cruises in this line have specific tourist destination allotted. Ours was Phuket (Bangkok) and Langkawi (Malaysia).
And what more could I ask, Bangkok is like the shopping mecca of all fashionistas, ain't it?

So day 2 began with a bit of dance preformances, food, more food and then Phuket! first we went to Wang Talang, its like the best jewellery mall for gem stones and diamonds. My mom and masi(aunt) wanted some earrings and other jewelry stuff!
Followed by The Central Festival Mall, which is amazing! I purchased 4 tops from Dorothy Perkins, my fav brand ever, A pair of pastel neon wedges from Ne&Na, I wanted to get some goodies from Miss Selfridges too, but  my Dad was busy in his electronic world but never mind.
We did some street shopping too, but most of the stuff seemed like hill road clothing items, Hence I landed up getting a pair of shorts which definitely look super cute and a bird print skirt.

When people talk about Bangkok being cheap and all, I really don't understand how?
I spend 3500bahts on those 4 tops in Dorothy Perkins, so if you try converting them in INR it is 7500/-
The street shopping had no sense, Rs.800/- for two clothing items. But I got them anyway as it looked like I bought them from those pricey shops.

The only deal I could manage was on shoes, bloody 259 bahts on any shoe or bags/purses/clutches. And they were on the lines of trendier versions but the only disappointing thing was limited  number in SIZES. (Money spent wisely)

Enjoy the pictures! {Outfit Of That Day}
This picture was clicked at 3am!

Top-thrifted, learn the diy cut out shirt, leggings-central, shoes-catwalk, bag-paprika, cuffs & necklace-colaba causeway
On my hair - Leave in L'Oreal conditioner+blow dry.

Sister's wedges and my glittery bronzy flats!

This picture was clicked when I was mad at my parents and sister for buying my sister two pairs of shoes and only one for me. Hence standing far apart from them!
I wasn't going to upload this picture, but after seeing it I had a good laugh with my sister and hence I am sharing it with you.

Florals. Turquoise. Love.

Hello Readers!
How have you all been? (now, honestly that feels like I am introducing you after a long time)

A small update, I am on twitter (finally) & its so much fun. If you don't have a twitter account then do get one and although I did connect it to my blog's account, but I use it as @gargi22_9, and its open for my blog followers as well as my friends! So if you know me, come say HI!

What else? I am enjoying making videos. One thing I just realized I am too comfortable on camera (just being modest). I always thought I would hate myself on screen, cause lets be honest we all look like some wicked pandas, with fats hugging at all the wrong places. But no,I actually look like me, the camera gods are really trying to make an effort. (must be the camera gods, only)I see a strong faithful relationship coming my way.

Now onto the outfit post,
This blazer is acting like a wind-cheater during rains. Its made of those thick non-woolen fabrics which does not absorb water, so in-short its a perfect rain wear. And the beaded necklace is one of the jewelry made by me!
And, ohh yeah I am currently determined to buy jelly shoes in all primary colors!

Enjoy the pictures!!

Just!

just to show you a complete H to T look!

blazer- somewhere from malaysia, top - ginger, jeans - only, necklace - d.i.y, shoes - lokhandwala.
on my cheeks - mac's coppertone.
on my lips- maybellines pleasure me red (just dabbed a little over a lip balm)

my purple jelly shoes! (My sister's orange flats!)

I hope everyone's enjoying their weekend!
Ohhh and tweet me at - @gargi22_9
